Recipe to Make a Cake.
This is a Family Recipe to make a delicious Cake.
To make this cake. You need lots of patient and a small mixer. This recipe belong to my family for 4 generations. Long time ago, this cake was made by hand, later was upgrade with the small mixer, then I tried to make it with an 250 mixer. Guess what?, It doesn't work at all with the bigger mixer. The cake comes out very hard. So I went back to use the small mixer and my cake is good as always.
8 Sticks of margarine
4 Cups of sugar
1 Cup of corn starch
2 Cans of evaporated milk
3 Teaspoons of vanilla
4 Cups of flour
1/2 Cup of small pecans (very fine)
Mix margarine and sugar until is creamy and the sugar is all mixed. It has to be very creamy. Next, add the eggs, ONE at the time.
The eggs need to be mixed completely. Making the batter very creamy and not looking like liquid. If this happen, add little corn starch at the time. (This is the most important part for the cake)
After you finish all the eggs, add the corn starch little bit at the time. Later, add the flour and the milk little bit at the time until you finish it. Finally, add vanilla and the pecans. The batter is done!
* Grease 2- 8 inch pans.
* Add the batter.
* Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until you put a toothpick inside the batter and it comes out clean.
* Cool it down and serve with a cup of coffee or green tea.
