Shrimp with Pasta.

An easy-to-fix recipe with shrimp, tomato, garlic and pasta (05/11/07)

 

shrimp pasta Serves 4.
Preparation time 30 min.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails removed)
  • salt and ground pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can ( 14.5 ounces) dice tomatoes in juice
  • 1/2 pound of cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups of cilantro
  • 1/2 pound of linguine
  • 1 lemon

    Instructions:

     

    Is very important to have everything ready when you cook shrimp, cut and wash everything and have it ready.

     

    shrip Pasta Ingredients. 1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, In a large skillet, heat 4 teaspoons of olive oil on high. Add shrimp; cook until turn pink (turning occasionally, about 3 minutes) transfer to a bowl; set aside.

     

    2. Make sauce; to the same skillet, add remaining 2 teaspoons of oil and garlic; cook over medium heat until fragant, about 30 seconds. Add canned tomatoes and their juice, along with 1 cup of water; bring to boil and reduce heat; add the fresh tomatoes and cover again and simmer about 15 minutes.

     

    3. Meanwhile in a large pot bring water to boil, add salt. Cook pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. drain; return pasta to pot.

     

    4. Turn off skillet.

     

    5. Put 4 plates and divide the pasta in 4, then add the tomatoe sauce on top then add the shrimp. Cut lemon in 4 pieces and add juice to the plates.
