Shrimp with Pasta.
An easy-to-fix recipe with shrimp, tomato, garlic and pasta (05/11/07)
Preparation time 30 min.
Is very important to have everything ready when you cook shrimp, cut and wash everything and have it ready.
1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, In a large skillet, heat 4 teaspoons of olive oil on high. Add shrimp; cook until turn pink (turning occasionally, about 3 minutes) transfer to a bowl; set aside.
2. Make sauce; to the same skillet, add remaining 2 teaspoons of oil and garlic; cook over medium heat until fragant, about 30 seconds. Add canned tomatoes and their juice, along with 1 cup of water; bring to boil and reduce heat; add the fresh tomatoes and cover again and simmer about 15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile in a large pot bring water to boil, add salt. Cook pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. drain; return pasta to pot.
4. Turn off skillet.
5. Put 4 plates and divide the pasta in 4, then add the tomatoe sauce on top then add the shrimp. Cut lemon in 4 pieces and add juice to the plates.
